New Castle – I’ve been honored to serve as Craig County’s interim Commonwealth Attorney since Thaddeus “Thad” Cox announced his retirement earlier this year. I’m the only candidate on the ballot for Commonwealth Attorney in Craig County this year, and I look forward to faithfully and dutifully representing the citizens of Craig County.
Craig County has a reputation for being a safe community, but this will change unless we continue to expand law enforcement capabilities to match the growing threat of drugs and violence in the Roanoke Valley. As Craig County’s interim Commonwealth’s Attorney it has been a pleasure to work with Sheriff Craddock. His re-election is critical to the progress we’ve made towards maintaining a safe community. Sheriff Craddock has expanded law enforcement coverage and has modernized many of the systems that are crucial to the effectiveness of his department.
For these reasons I am excited to endorse Sheriff Trevor Craddock in his candidacy for reelection. I hope you will join me in casting a ballot for him on November 5th, 2019.
